Domenico Dolce exclaimed to the more than 300 guests gathered in the historic ballroom of the Palazzo Reale museum in Milan on Saturday night for the gala inauguration of From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce & Gabbana, an immersive exhibition running through July 31.
And he wasn’t only speaking of the clutch of celebrities at the head table: the actress Isabella Rossellini, the artist Anh Duong, and the fashion models Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova, who have all posed or walked the runway for the brand during its 40-year existence; and friends Demi Moore, Dame Helen Mirren, Lily James, and Cher.
